A pioneer of the new technology in chemical-free platemaking our aluminium plates are made straight from the computer and are 'etched' using only water which remains environmentally friendly.
We have a policy of using, wherever possible, paper from sustainable sources, recycled paper or environmentally friendly paper.
We use vegetable-based inks.
All our waste paper and aluminium plates are recycled.
The Oce digital print engines that we have invested in are RoHS (Reduction of Harmful Substances) compliant, Energy Star rated and emit zero ozone. The toner used in the printing process is graphite based and can be returned to the earth or recycled without any impact on nature.
Oce Revolutionary CopyPress technology also uses up to 50% less energy by pressing the image onto the paper and using far less heat than the traditional Xerography of old.
In fact the CPS colour printer is the only digital colour system without ozone emission - one of the causes of the Sick Building Syndrome.
We encourage car-sharing, home working & discourage unnecessary journeys and one of our staff cycles to work!
